UN Women calls for proposals to provide support to the internally displaced women and girls in Western oblasts of Ukraine and develop capacity of the war-affected women and women’s civil society organisations to meaningfully participate in decision making and advocate for their needs.

This call for proposals targets civil society organisations working on policy research in India in thematic areas-ending gender-based violence, women’s economic justice, and rights themes. The responsible party will undertake research to identify urgent interventions towards gender equality. The organisation will draw a comparative analysis of international policies emerging in the South Asia for ending violence against women, women's increased labour force participation, safety at work, unpaid work, and access to services to inform feminist advocacy agenda.

UN Women seeks to engage a responsible party to strengthen community-based justice mechanism in selected villages to build capacity for women’s access to justice in Indonesia.

UN Women is seeking responsible parties to implement initiatives related to three areas of work:

• Promoting socially cohesive and peaceful communities;
• Supporting human rights monitoring mechanisms; and
• Protecting women human rights defenders.

Organizations are expected to submit one proposal for any one of these three areas, operational in at least three provinces in Afghanistan.

The overall objective is to support women and excluded groups for their economic recovery and resilience in the COVID-19 context. The specific objectives of the assignment are to expand income opportunities through sustainable livelihood interventions and to address gender-based barriers and discriminatory norms that limit women’s economic opportunities through family/community mobilization.
