UN Women seeks the services of civil society organizations and gender-based violence (GBV) service providers in one the select states (Punjab or Uttar Pradesh) to strengthen continuation of service provision and operations to GBV survivors and vulnerable women, including shelters, psycho-social counseling, and legal support. Proposals should also facilitate access of women and girl survivors to government-run helpline services and collect and analyse data to improve response by the service providers.

To enhance the institutional capacities of governance institutions to prevent and respond to all forms of violence against women, UN Women is seeking an implementing partner to conduct mapping of one-stop centres and institutions delivering essential gender-based violence (GBV) services in the three states and their role in provisioning of services especially during COVID-19, to develop guidelines on essential GBV service provisions during COVID-19, and to equip 1000 frontline functionaries across three select states.

UN Women Somalia calls for proposals for the implementation of a programme focused on promoting women’s representation and meaningful participation in decision-making and leadership positions in peace and political processes, which is fundamental to securing durable peace, political stability, and security in Somalia.

The programme will also provide a transformative vision for a women-centered, human rights-based, and gender-responsive approaches to peacebuilding. Consequently, as a part of the peacebuilding process, the programme will harness and further strengthen women peacebuilder networks and forums.

UN Women Sudan calls for proposals that foster an inclusive women’s movement by:

• Strengthening the organization of women in their different intersectionalities, specifically the most excluded from development and political processes;
• Strengthening the young women’s movement; and
• Building the capacity of women in political parties to develop a common agenda and a national program of action for increasing accountability to gender equality and the empowerment of women.
