UN Women Tanzania calls for proposals from organizations with a track record in human and women’s rights and gender equality, to implement creative and innovative strategies, and approaches at the local level in the selected district councils to transform gender norms, discriminatory behaviours, and practices to promote women and girls’ voices, meaningful participation, leadership, and economic rights.

Este llamado a propuestas de ONU Mujeres es para el fortalecimiento de capacidades hacia la prevención de la violencia basada en género y la trata de personas. Este acuerdo con contraparte busca un responsable del:

1. Fortalecimiento institucional de las capacidades para mejorar la calidad de la atención y los servicios de los refugios para mujeres víctimas de la violencia de género;
2. El fortalecimiento de las capacidades de los funcionarios estatales y actores humanitarios sobre las nuevas dinámicas de la trata de personas con fines de explotación sexual en el contexto de la pandemia;
3. La virtualización de 4 cursos dirigidos a funcionarios públicos y actores humanitarios en Ecuador; y el
4. Desarrollo del proceso de capacitación dirigido a 200 funcionarios estatales y actores humanitarios a nivel nacional.

UN Women calls for applications for strengthening the institutional capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) working in the area of women increasing women’s participation and leadership.

The grant is therefore expected to increase the resource and capacity of eligible CSOs to advance the rights of women to participate in public and political life and enable them to become agents of transformative change towards an equitable society.
