A returned migrant woman in Nepal finds a new start

Basanti Tamang left her home in Nepal to work as a housemaid in Lebanon, only to find that the earnings she sent home had all been spent by the time she returned. Without a job or formal education, Basanti was economically dependent on her husband and faced negative attitudes from her community.
